Day 656 – #64 Plant second border

Finally got round to my second border – two years on from the first…..

Mum had given me a load of plants that she’d raised from seed so that got me off to a great start.  I also paid a visit to Whitehall garden centre and got a few larger plants – the climbing rose (Ena Harkness) and  a climbing fuschia amongst other things.  I also moved the buddleia from the other flower bed.  It’s not looking too chipper at the moment but I’m sure it will recover.  I can’t wait until it’s gets going.  I think I’m going to get a wigwam-y thing for the climbing fuschia rather than train it against the wall.  I leave that to my new climbing rose 🙂  Also, taking pride of place by the pond is a shrub rose that mum cultivated from Laura’s wedding bouquet.  Hopefully that will take well and flourish too.
