The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that I seem to have gone back in time to day 891…. Somewhere along the line I’ve seriously miscounted what day I’m on! Not sure where it happened and can’t be bothered to go back and edit everything so we’ll start from this point onwards….
I bought another new cookbook! This recipe is from Lean in 15 and is Gnocchi with Sausage Ragu. It was SO tasty. And very simple to make. It’s sausages split into thirds to make meatballs. They are fried off in olive oil with some onion and rosemary (and garlic but I didn’t have any so I missed it out). Then a bit of balsamic vinegar is added and bubbled away, then a tin of tomatoes and simmer for 5 mins. Cook the gnocci, top with the ragu and add a bit of basil to look fancy. Job done. It was delicious, very filling and will definitely be added to the repertoire.
